Brickwork is the most visible part of most builds, and it is the part that gets judged from the pavement for the next fifty years. We build clean, plumb and to line, and we take matching in existing brick and mortar seriously.

Matching existing brick
Getting a colour match is only half the job — bond, joint profile and mortar colour matter just as much. We source the closest available brick, mix mortar to match the existing rather than defaulting to a standard grey, and finish the joints to the same profile so new work reads as part of the original house.
Boundary and garden walls
Retaining walls, screen walls, planters and piers, all on proper foundations with movement joints and coping where they belong. Half the failed garden walls we get called out to look at were built straight onto topsoil.
Repointing and repairs
Old lime-mortared walls need lime mortar, not cement — using the wrong mix traps moisture and damages the brick faces. We rake out to the right depth, repoint in the right material and match the original joint finish.
